Shop Drawings

Shop drawings are clean, fully dimensioned 2D drawings a machinist or fabricator can build directly from — the bridge between a CAD model and an actual manufactured part.

When you need it

  • You have a CAD model but need formal drawings for a machine shop or fabricator.
  • A part needs to go out for quoting and the shop wants dimensioned drawings, not just a 3D file.
  • You need drawings for documentation, inspection, or quality records.

Our process

  1. Intake: receive the CAD model or part to be drawn.
  2. Drafting: dimensioned drawings created to standard drafting conventions.
  3. Review: drawings checked against the model and your shop's requirements.
  4. Delivery: finished drawing set in the format your shop needs (PDF, DWG, etc.).

Proof in our own catalog

We hold our own product designs to this standard before any production run starts. Outside project work gets the same drafting standard, not a lighter version of it.

Missouri-based, serving clients nationwide

We're based in Missouri. Drawing work is almost entirely remote: send the CAD model, tell us the format your shop needs, and we'll get drawings back to you without an in-person visit.
