Prototyping
Prototyping turns a 3D model into a real, physical part you can hold, test, and check for fit and function before committing to a full production run.
When you need it
- You want to verify fit and function before tooling up for production.
- A design needs real-world testing to catch problems a CAD model can't show.
- You need a working sample to show a client, partner, or investor.
Our process
- Intake: review the 3D model and what the prototype needs to prove.
- Build: prototype produced using the appropriate process for the part.
- Testing: fit, function, and durability checked against real-world use.
- Iteration: design adjustments based on test results, if needed.
- Delivery: a functional prototype, plus updated CAD reflecting any changes.
Proof in our own catalog
Every holder in our catalog went through a prototype-and-test cycle on an actual vehicle before it became a sellable product — that same rigor applies to outside prototyping work.
